Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies arrested a suspect involved in a vehicle pursuit on Riverside Drive.

At 7:24 a.m., a call came into the Emergency-911 Center reporting a suspicious vehicle backed into the driveway of a residence inside the 2200 block of Old Holton Road. When deputies arrived to investigate, they discovered a silver Kia Forte. Upon attempting to make contact with the vehicle the driver immediately fled, leading deputies on a brief pursuit. During the pursuit, the suspect intentionally rammed three patrol vehicles. Deputies were able to apprehend the suspect on Riverside Drive. One deputy sustained minor injuries.

The suspect was identified as thirty-one-year-old Jonathon Michael Shadwick. Shadwick was transported to a medical facility to be treated for minor injuries. He was then transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Jonathon Michael Shadwick faces charges of Probation Violation, Driving on a Suspended License, Failure to Maintain Lane, Felony Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement Officers, and three counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.

Jonathon Shadwick does not have a bond.
