The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection to the theft of a wallet from the Kroger, located at 220 Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard. A tip was called into Crime Stoppers which led investigators to the arrest of a 20 year old Macon man on Tuesday afternoon.
Demonte Shaquille Slaughter was arrested for 1 count of Credit Card Theft and 12 counts of Credit Card Transaction Fraud. Slaughter is currently in custody at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office with a bond amount of $38,350.00.
