The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit was notified that the individual that they were seeking for Identity Fraud was identified and arrested in Augusta, Georgia on Saturday. It was reported that DeAndre M Adams of Atlanta, Georgia was arrested for similar Identity Fraud by using counterfeit identification to withdrawal funds from a banking accounts. Adams is suspected of using false identifications to withdraw approximately $600,000 from banking accounts throughout the Southeast.
Bibb Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking warrants on Adams and a hold will be placed when he satisfies the Augusta courts in their investigation against Adams.
