The U.S. Marshal’s Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 27 year old Johntellis Montez Mathis this morning at around 9:00AM at a relative’s home in Bibb County. Mathis Surrendered himself without incident. Mathis was wanted for the aggravated assault that occurred at Macon Garden Apartments located at 3601 Mercer University Drive back in December of 2014. Mathis is associated with the Blacc Team which is a local street gang and is believed to be participating in criminal street gang activity.
Mathis is charged with aggravated assault, the street gang terrorism act, false imprisonment and theft by taking. Bond has been denied on Mathis. He remains in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex.
