On December 30, 2019, at 01:59 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Macon man for four counts of aggravated assault, that happened on November 5, 2019, at the corner of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue.

Deputies took 25-year-old Robreon Jarvus Lee, of Macon, into custody at Heaven Restaurant, 3555 Mercer University Drive, without incident. Lee was initially thought to be a victim in the shooting incident but was determined to be a suspect that was shooting at a house on Walnut Street. No one inside the residence was injured during the shooting. 

Lee was found in the street with a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to the Navicent Health for treatment the night of the incident. Deputies are working to determine what led up to the shooting that night.

Lee was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault. He is being held without bond at this time.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Incident in North Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that was reported to have occurred at the corner of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue at 9:30 p.m. on November 5, 2019.

Deputies responded to the area of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue in regard to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies found a male subject lying in the street with gunshot wounds to the upper body. The 25-year-old male victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured during this incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time. 

The incident is still under investigation at this time, further information will be released as it becomes available.
