Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrest a Macon man after discovering two stolen cars on his property, along with a gun and drugs.

Deputies went to an address in the 1000 block of Birch Street on January 25, 2020, at 02:30 a.m. to serve warrants on a suspect that lives at the location. While deputies were checking the residence, they located a stolen Dodge Challenger and a stolen Chevy Silverado.

A search warrant was executed for the property and deputies located a 12ga shotgun and Ecstasy pills in the residence. Deputies also located parts to many different vehicles. The original suspect was not located.

The homeowner, 40-year-old Charles Altonio Walker, of Macon, was taken into custody. He was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Owning, Operating or Conducting a Chop Shop, two counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance. He is being on a $34,410.00 bond at this time.
