The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force served arrest warrants on 38-year-old Andre Lucas for the charges of Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery in connection to the June 7, 2015 shooting of William Ford that occurred on Highland Avenue.
While interviewing Lucas, Investigators learned that Lucas had an untreated gunshot wound to his right hand. It is believed that Lucas received this injury during the shooting incident.
Lucas was taken to the Navicent Health for treatment. Upon release from the hospital he was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is being held, without bond, for the charges of Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Battery.
