On August 5, 2020, at 4:19 p.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies were in the Capital Avenue and Thomas Street area, when they witnessed a suspicious male throw down a bag after he spotted deputies.
Deputies made contact with the subject, 27-year-old Jonathan Gutierrez of Macon. While talking to Gutierrez deputies checked the bag they witnessed him toss on the ground. In the bag, deputies found small baggies of Marijuana, Crack Cocaine, and Ecstasy pills.
Gutierrez was transported to the Bibb County jail and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule I or Narcotic Schedule II, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Schedule III, IV, V Substance. He is being held without bond at this time.
