On September 21, 2019, at 02:32 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were checking the downtown area when they were notified of a subject trying to sell drugs inside the Crazy Bull, 473 Second Street.

When deputies approached the entrance to the Crazy Bull they found that the bouncers were escorting the suspect out of the business. When the suspect, 23-year-old Lamar Lashawn Smith of Macon, spotted the deputies he attempted to run back into the business.

Deputies detained Smith and searched his person, they found small bags of cocaine and a bag of marijuana. One of the people that Smith approached trying to sell the drugs, came forward and agreed to give a statement.

Smith was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and Marijuana Possession less than an Ounce. He is being held without bond at this time.
