On January 4, 2019 The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the 2800 block of Millerfield Road in regards to an aggravated assault and auto theft, just after 07:00am. It was reported that 35 year-old Maurice Mills was taking his brother, 36 year-old Terrell Ugean Mills to a residence on Millerfield Road.
When they arrived Terrell pulled out a pistol and pointed it at Maurice. It was stated that Terrell shot at Maurice, but Maurice was able to push the gun away. Maurice then ran from the vehicle. Terrell fired several more shots at Maurice.
Maurice ran behind an abandoned house nearby to get away. Terrell, after trying to find Maurice drove off in Maurice’s car.
On January 31, 2019, just before 2:00pm, Deputies along with the US Marshal Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force were able to locate Terrell at an address off Bowman Street. He was taken into custody without incident.
Terrell is being held in the Bibb County Jail, without bond on charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon and Theft by Taking Auto. Terrell also has holds for Probation and Parole Violations.
