The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind motorist traveling in the downtown area this afternoon of street closings for the New Year’s Eve Celebration in the Rosa Parks Square tonight.
The streets blocked off to traffic will be First Street, from Poplar Street to Cherry Street and Cotton Avenue, from First Street to Cherry Street. The streets will be blocked beginning at 6:00PM. The event begins at 9:00PM.
