The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred at around 2:45 p.m. Friday afternoon in the 8300 block of Lower Thomaston Road. It was reported by a witness that a 2011 Ford Transit Van was traveling in a northwest direction on Lower Thomaston Road when the van veered off of the right side of the road, striking a culvert. The van flipped several times, ejecting the driver from the van. The vehicle came to rest, upright and the driver, identified as 30 year old Kristopher Terrell, of Lizella, was partially trapped under the vehicle.
Terrell was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for his injuries.Information will be released on the condition of the driver when it becomes available.
