Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle traffic accident, that occurred at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. It was reported that a 51-year-old male driver was traveling on I-75 north at the Arkwright Road off-ramp. Witnesses reported that the vehicle left the roadway and hit a sign and guardrail. The vehicle then went down an embankment. During the accident, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to the Navicent Health hospital, to receive treatment for his injuries. He is listed in critical condition. The next of kin has not been notified.
This accident is under investigation.
