The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that happened in the 200 block of Ward Street at 8:55 p.m.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Ward Street regarding a person shot. While enroute deputies were informed the victim, a 21-year-old male, was driven to the Navicent Health Medical Center. Deputies made contact at the Medical Center and found that a second victim, a 25-year-old male, had also arrived at the hospital. The 21-year-old victim had a single gunshot to the upper leg; he is listed in critical but stable condition at this time. The 25-year-old victim was grazed by a gunshot on the chest; he is listed in stable condition at this time. Witnesses stated the victims were walking on Ward Street when the incident happened. No one else was injured during the incident.
There is no information on the suspect at this time.
