Bibb County Sheriff’s patrol deputies arrested the second suspect in connection to the armed robbery and murder of Ulysses Pitts, which took place at a residence on McCall Road on January 7, 2015.  A crime stoppers tip was called in about the location  of 25 year old Antwan Denard Johnson.  Patrol deputies arrested Johnson at around 12:09p.m., Sunday, without incident, in a hotel room at the Discovery Inn, located at 4604 Chambers Road.

Antwan Denard Johnson was arrested and charged with armed robbery and murder. He also had outstanding warrants from an unrelated case for the charges of Battery Family Violence, Terroristic Threats and Acts, and Cruelty to Children in the 3rd degree. Johnson is being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.

Sherod Ranardo Holston turned himself in at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Office on January 10, 2015. Investigators took Holston into custody. Holston had warrants for his arrest for the murder and armed robbery of Ulysses Pitts.

Holston was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex and booked on both charges. He was also charged with violation of probation. No bond has been set.
