The United States Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office made a second arrest today in the homicide of Talshia Taylor that occurred on Saturday, September 9, 2017. The homicide occurred at 808 Patton Avenue just before 4:00 a.m.
During the investigation it was discovered that 24 year old Antwan Sherrod Lamar was involved in the death of Taylor. Lamar knew both Taylor and Taquilla Brown. Antwan Lamar was picked up at a location in Macon just before 2:00 p.m. today. He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division where he was interviewed before being transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement. Lamar is charged with murder and aggravated assault.
