Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 16 year old Drayson MacDonald, of Macon, in connection with the murder of 23 year old Vernard Mays. MacDonald was brought down to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division by Juvenile Probations to be interviewed just before 4:00PM today.
MacDonald is charged as an adult with Felony Murder. He was transported to the Macon Regional Youth Development Center and booked on the charge. No bond has been set.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigator’s continue to investigate the incident and follow leads in the case.
