The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Robert Harris Jr., 78 years old, from Macon was last seen by his wife outside of the Navicent Health Hospital located at 700 Pine Street just after 7:00AM Thursday morning. Harris was to attend a doctor’s appointment but never showed up after being dropped off for the appointment.
Harris is a black male, 6 feet 2 inches in height and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has gray hair and is balding. He was wearing a blue striped shirt, blue pants, a forest green colored jacket, and shoes. According to family members, Harris has dementia. Harris is known to ride the bus and frequents the downtown area. Family did not have a recent picture of Harris. The photo attached is from 2002.
