The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Melissa Nicole Bryant, 31 years old of Macon, was last seen by a friend on August 6, 2015 at around 5:00PM. Bryant had been picked up by her friend after she saw her walking in the 3000 block of Houston Avenue on August 6, 2015. The friend took Bryant to her residence where Bryant later left walking. According to the friend, Bryant told her she was going to check herself in to the crisis center at the Medical Center.
According to a family member, Elaine Nesbitt, this is not the first time that Bryant has disappeared for days without contacting anyone. Nesbitt said Bryant would usually contact her after a couple of weeks. According to Nesbitt, Bryant suffers from being bipolar and schizophrenic but may not be taking her medication.
Bryant is a black female. She is approximately 5 feet 2 inches in height and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has black, straight, shoulder length hair and brown eyes. Bryant has a tattoo on her left arm with the word “Nicole”. She was last seen wearing a brown polo shirt, beige shorts and unknown color sneakers.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Melissa Nicole Bryant is urged to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
