The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Charles (Charlie) Lee Wells Sr., 73 years old of Macon, was last seen walking away from his home in the 1900 block of Northbrook Avenue this evening at about 6:30PM. He was walking in the direction of Forest Avenue in the Pleasant Hill Area.
Wells is a black male. He is 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighs approximately 135 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jean pants, black suspenders and a blue shirt with white writing. He has low, salt and pepper hair and stubble on his face. Wells is reported to have Alzheimer’s. It was also reported that he is known to walk into backyards around other houses. Residents in the Pleasant Hill area are asked to check around the outside of their homes. The photo attached of Wells was taken back in December of 2014.
