The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate 27 year old, Johntellis Montez Mathis of Macon. Mathis is wanted for aggravated assault in an incident that occurred in Macon Garden Apartments located at 3601 Mercer University Drive back in December 2014. It was reported that Mathis made threats to the victim while brandishing a firearm. Mathis is associated with the Blacc Team which is a local criminal street gang and was believed to be participating in criminal street gang activity during this incident.
Mathis is a black male, 5 feet 11 inches in height and weighs approximately 225 pounds. A recent photograph of Mathis is attached to this release.
