The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public assistance in locating 23 year old Zerrick Deiontrey Hampton. Hampton is a person of interest and investigators want to talk with him in reference to a murder that took place December 13, 2015, just after 6:00PM at the 3900 block of Lindwood Drive.
Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Zerrick Deiontrey Hampton is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call Investigator or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in South Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the homicide of 14 year old Tashuntis Roberts of Macon. It was reported that shortly after 6 p.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of gunshots in the 3900 block of Lindwood Drive. When deputies arrived they discovered Tashuntis Roberts had been shot inside the home. Witnesses reported seeing a car go down the street, turn around and stop in front of the home. A person got out of the car and fired several shots into the home. A witness told deputies he was sitting on a nearby porch when he heard the shots. It was reported that an earlier incident involving the victim’s brother might have possibly led to the shooting.
Roberts was transported to the Navicent Health Center by ambulance. Roberts was initially thought to have been shot at least once in the side. It was discovered that Roberts was struck several times. Roberts was pronounced dead at about 9:50 p.m., by Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.
