The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an attempted personal armed robbery by force that occurred November 24, 2015 just before 3:40am at 2400 Riverside Drive, Best Western Riverside Inn.
It was reported that 61 year old David Lord of Macon was parking his vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel when he was approached by a tall slender black male. Witnesses stated that the suspect demanded money from Lord. When Mr. Lord refused the suspect hit Mr. Lord about the head with a foreign object. The suspect fled the scene.

This incident is currently under investigation.
