The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in reference to forgery. In early February of this year a black female went to Macys, Staples, Lowes and the Finish Line and wrote forged checks to these businesses for purchases. All of the transactions occurred in one day.
Investigators are interesting in talking with the woman in the picture attached to this release. Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of this person is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
