The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at around 12:05AM. The Robbery occurred at the Houston Mart located at 3472 Houston Avenue. It was reported that a male suspect, race unknown, entered the store wearing a mask, gloves and a head covering. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene. No one was injured during the incident.
