The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect that fired a gunshot inside the Hot Wings Plus Restaurant.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call just before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in reference to a male firing a shot inside the Hot Wings Plus Restaurant, located at 3479 Pio Nono Avenue. It was reported that the suspect described as a black male came into the restaurant and ordered some food. The suspect had placed an order, paid for it, and then he asked for his money back. The employee put the suspect’s money on the counter. The suspect told the employee to put the money in his hand. The employee left the money on the counter. The suspect took out a gun and fired one shot. The employee turned to run towards the back of the store and ran out of the business to another business nearby. The employee was not injured during the incident. The suspect ran out of the business towards Rice Mill Road.

The suspect is described as being approximately 6 feet in height, dark-skinned with facial hair. He was reported to be wearing camouflaged pants, a black zip up hoodie with the hood on his head and black and white shoes.
