The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect involved in the armed robbery of the Circle K Convenience Store located at 3903 Arkwright Road. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 13, 2017, just before 2:30 a.m.

A photograph of the suspect taken from the store’s surveillance camera is attached. He is described as a black male, mid 30’s to early 40’s in age, 5’6” to 5’7” in height and a slender build. The suspect was wearing a bluejeaned shirt, black pants, a baseball cap with the letter “P” , and a black du-rag covering his face.

It was reported that the suspect entered the store and approached the employee, pointing a gun at her. He handed the employee a bag and demanded she put the money in the bag. The employee put an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register into the bag. The suspect ran out of the store, last seen headed in the direction of the old Logan’s Roadhouse Restaurant. No one was injured during the robbery.
