Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating an aggravated assault incident that took place in the 400 block of Cherry Street. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 12:17 a.m., Thursday.

It was reported that an unidentified male and female attempted to enter the Hummingbird Stage and Taproom; with a bookbag and were told they could not enter with the bag.  A verbal argument then occurred between the unidentified male and security. The male is then escorted out of the business by security. Moments later the male returns to the business without the bag but is asked to leave because of the verbal argument and him physically having to be removed. Both the male and female leave the business only to return a third time in a vehicle. It was reported that both individuals exited the vehicle and approached security. The male argues with security and during the argument brandishes a firearm before leaving. Once inside the vehicle the male fires shots out the window of the vehicle. No one was injured during this incident and no damage to the business was reported.   Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying both individuals. The male is described as a white male with blond hair, last seen wearing a black tee shirt and white gym shorts. The female is described as a white female with curly red hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green shirt. It was reported that the individuals were driving a blue newer model Nissan Sentra.
