The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Home Invasion that took place on Winship Street at around 6:00p.m, Sunday evening.  It was reported that 68 year old William Kelso sell’s candy from his house. Kelso stated that three young black males knocked on the door and he invited them in with the assumption they were there to buy candy. Once inside two suspects pulled out guns and demanded money from Mr. Kelso.

   During the incident, Kelso was struck by one of the suspects in the head with a gun.   Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the home in an unknown direction. Kelso received an injury to his head and was treated at Northside Hospital and released. No one else was injured during this incident.
