The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a personal armed robbery that took place just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening outside a residence in the 400 block of Laurel Place. It was reported that the 57yr old female, was getting out of her vehicle when she was approached by a black male and a black female, both brandishing firearms. The suspects demanded money and her bank card. The victim’s husband came out of the house and the suspects made him lay on the ground along with his wife. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and the female victim’s bank card then fled in a dark color vehicle. No one was injured during the incident.
The male suspect is described as being around six feet tall, slender wearing all black with a hoodie. The female suspect had on dark clothes and was wearing a mask. No other information is available at this time.
