The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place just before 9:00p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Ole Times Buffet, located at 1343 Gray Hwy.
It was reported that two black male suspects approached 64yr old Darlene Conyer, of Gray, assaulted her and took her work apron. During the altercation Conyer was shot once in the left abdomen. The suspects were seen running from the scene on Gray Hwy towards Shurling Dr. Mrs. Conyer was taken to the Navicent Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
The two suspects were described as being around 6 foot tall, medium build with masks covering their faces. Both suspects were wearing dark color clothes.
