The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a personal armed robbery and aggravated assault that took place just before 1:00 pm this evening, in the 700 block of Woodard Avenue. It was reported that the victim, 42 year old Andre Murphy of Macon, was approached by two suspects that demanded money. Murphy gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money. One of the suspects shot Murphy once in the left leg before fleeing the scene. Murphy was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspects are described as two black males wearing mask. The suspect vehicle is described as a late model Honda, gold in color. This incident is currently under investigation.
