The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot. The incident occurred at around 5:15p.m. Thursday night. Deputies were called to the Navicent hospital after it was reported that a man walked in with a gunshot wound to the hand. The victim, 44 year old Willie Gorman was transported to the hospital by a relative.
Investigators discovered that the incident location was at a residence, located on Florence Avenue.
Investigators are still speaking with possible witnesses and are continuing to process the scene, in an effort to determine what took place. No one else was injured during this incident. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
