The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at around 10:37 p.m. , Friday night. The incident was reported to have happened in the 900 block of Sunnydale Drive.
It was reported that a female was walking down Sunnydale Drive with another person when she was shot in the abdomen area. The incident is in its early stages of the investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
The victim, Lawanda Curry, 35-years of age, from Macon, was transported to the Navicent hospital and is listed to be in critical condition.
