The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian traffic collision that occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on Rice Mill Road near Sherry Drive.
It was reported that a Toyota Camry driven by a 45-year-old male, was traveling south on Rice Mill Road. As the driver was navigating the curve near Sherry Drive he struck a 55-year-old male that was walking in the road. The 55-year-old male was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition at this time.
The above information is preliminary and could change as the investigation progresses.
