The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian-involved fatal traffic collision that occurred just before 6:00 a.m., August 27, 2023, on Hawkinsville Road near Allen Road.
It was reported that a thirty-year-old male of Warner Robins was driving a Ford Focus northbound on Hawkinsville Road. The vehicle struck twenty-three-year-old Christopher Antwan Williams Jr. who was walking in the roadway. Williams was pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Leon Jones. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified. No one else was injured in the collision.
