The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian involved accident that took place on Houston Road, near its intersection with Allen Road. The accident occurred at 10:49 p.m. Monday.
According to witness statements, a male driver was traveling north on Houston Road in the left lane of travel. The driver stated that he saw a male standing in the roadway and attempted to avoid colliding with the male, but was unsuccessful.
The male pedestrian, 30-year-old Shadow Jack Horn from Macon, was transported to the Navicent by ambulance. Horn is currently listed to be in critical condition. The male driver was not injured during the accident.
No charges have been filed against driver. This accident is under investigation. Anyone with information in reference to accident is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
