The pedestrian fatally wounded in the accident in the 100 block of Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard on Thursday night, May 25, 2017, has been identified. He is 54 year old Charles Ray Brown with a last known address of Lexington Kentucky. Brown was identified by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab through a thumb print.

Traffic Fatality Involving A Pedestrian

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies answered a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 100 block of Tom Hill SR Blvd just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday night. It was reported that a 2003 Saturn ION, driven by 27 year old Destinie Johnson of Macon, was traveling east on Tom Hill SR Blvd. It was reported that Johnson swerved into the turning lane to avoid a vehicle that pulled out in front of her. While doing so, she did not see the pedestrian standing in the turning lane and struck him. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the Navicent Health Hospital.
