The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian traffic incident that occurred on the I-75 northbound off-ramp to Mercer University Drive.
It was reported that a 72-year-old Larry Glynn Hudson, of Macon, was walking south on the off-ramp when he stepped into traffic. Hudson was struck by a white Chevy Silverado driven by a 53-year-old male, from Kathleen GA. Hudson was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by staff. Next of Kin has been notified at this time.
