The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Maynard St near Taylor St. It was reported that an 8yr old boy from Macon was running across Maynard St. and ran in front of Honda Civic driven by 73yr old Mable Swain Macon who was traveling north on Maynard St. The child was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center to be treated for his injuries and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the accident. There are no charges at this time.
