The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred in the 1100 block of Gray Highway at 7:07 p.m. It was reported that a 69-year-old male, of Macon, was crossing eastbound in the northbound lanes of Gray Highway on foot.
A Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Lt. James Lary, with the Bibb mCounty Sheriff’s Office, was traveling north on Gray Highway when the Pedestrian crossed in front of the vehicle and was struck.
The 69-year-old male was taken to the Navicent Health where he was listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in this accident.
