The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian traffic accident that occurred on Hawkinsville Road at Allen Road.
It was reported that at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday night, a 40-year-old male was attempting to cross the roadway. Once he was crossing and was standing in the turning lane on Hawkinsville Road, he was struck by a vehicle that entered the turning lane, while attempting to make a left turn onto Allen Road.
The male was transported to the Navicent Health Center by ambulance. At this time he is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured in this accident.
