On June 23, 2019, just after 08:00 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to 1401 Berkner Avenue, Ross Temple Baptist Church in regards to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival deputies found a white female trying to exit the church through a window.

It was determined that 37-year-old Quida Nicole Childress, of Forsyth, had entered the church through a door in the Fellowship Hall. Church members noticed the door open and called deputies. Childress had damaged some of the furniture in the fellowship hall.

Childress was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary and Criminal Trespass.
