Due to several calls received on Thursday from people inquiring about parking available for those planning to come out Saturday to pay their respects during the funeral procession of Gregg Allman, The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to let everyone know that there are two areas that are recommended for parking. One location is the old Macon City Central Services which is an open field in the 800 block of Riverside Drive, directly across the street from New Street at Riverside Drive. The second location is at 1090 Riverside Drive, a vacant car lot, east of Orange Street at Riverside Drive.
