The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, working in cooperation with the Georgia State Patrol conducted “Operation Street Guardian” from November 12, 2021, through November 14, 2021. This operation is a continuation of law enforcement efforts in deterring traffic offenses and other criminal issues that affect the citizens in Macon-Bibb County.
This county wide emphasis on illegal activities resulted in Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies and Georgia State Patrol Troopers arresting eighty individuals, including serving twenty-six outstanding warrants and issuing eight hundred and twenty-two citations. Included in the total arrests were forty-five individuals charged with DUI.
