On October 5, 2022, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Gang Task Force, United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Task Force, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Gang Task Force, Department of Community Supervision, Georgia State Patrol, and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office conducted a detail called Operation “Red Zone”. This detail was in response to recent criminal street gang violence and other criminal street gang activity taking place in Macon-Bibb County. A combination of search warrants, arrest warrants, and probation searches were conducted. As a result of this detail, ten arrests were made, twelve firearms were seized, in which two of the firearms were reported stolen, and several narcotics were seized. The persons arrested during this detail are:
Kannyata Francis, 29-years-oldcharged with Trafficking Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearm during Commission of a Felony, Marijuana Possession less than 1oz., and Possession of Marijuana within 1,000 feet of schools. He is being held without bond.
Shmar Tull, 23-year-oldcharged with Probation Violation. He is being held without bond.
Shannon Clyde, 38-year-oldcharged with two Counts of Contempt of Court, and a (Hold) for Houston County Sheriff’s Office for a charge in Houston county. He is being held without bond.
D’Angelo Roquemore, 26-years-oldcharged with Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Probation Violation. He is being held without bond.
Willie Young , 26-years-oldcharged with Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Probation Violation. He is being held without bond.
Torico Bonner, 29-years-old charged with Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Probation Violation. He is being held without bond.
Maury Frye, 24-year-oldcharged with Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Probation Violation. He is being held without bond.
Ryan Reeves, 30-years-oldcharged with Probation Violation. Reeves was released on a release order by the courts.
Martrell Scott, 30-years-oldcharged with Probation Violation and has a (Hold) with Forsyth Police Department for a charge in Forsyth. He is being held without bond.
