On October 13, 2019, at 3:56 p.m. while working part-time at Smiley’s Flea Market, 6717 Hawkinsville Road, an off-duty Investigator was contacted about a person trying to get into a vehicle in the rear parking lot.
The Investigator was able to locate the suspect after witnesses pointed her out. Deputies detained 34-year-old Tamika Kevelle Mobley, of Macon. It was determined that Mobley had gone into a Chevy Van and stole a purse. The victim was located, and the purse was returned.
Mobley was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Entering Auto. She is being held on a $1,300.00 bond at this time.
