Investigators arrested the mother of a three-month-old infant who was found unresponsive at a residence, located in the 2800 block of Regina Drive. The mother, 22-year-old Rebecca Ann Kipp was arrested on a warrant for the charge of Malice Murder, on Tuesday morning.
According to the arrest warrant the three-month-old child was found in a position that he couldn’t have gotten himself into, while on the couch. The infant was found face down, between the cushions. Investigators looked into several statements given by the mother and other evidence at the scene.
Rebecca Ann Kipp turned herself over to investigators Tuesday morning and was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the charge of Malice Murder. Kipp does not have a bond.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Infant Death
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are investigating the death of an infant that occurred earlier today. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence located in the 2800 block of Regina Drive at around 1:30 p.m., in reference to a child reported to be unresponsive.
It was reported that a three-month-old male infant was found unresponsive by the grandmother. Emergency medical services arrived at the residence and the child was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed.
