Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators received information from the nephew of Jamie Leigh Poling on Tuesday morning that she had made contact with him on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He reported that Poling is no longer missing and is still in Macon and staying at a local motel. The nephew also stated that he tried to arrange to have her come back to Ohio but she refused and became angry. Jamie Poling is no longer missing at this time and does not appear to want any assistance from family members.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for Public’s Assistance In Locating A Missing Person

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. Jamie Leigh Poling, 38 years of age, was reported missing on May 5, 2017. Poling was reported missing by a relative who said that Poling came to Macon from Columbus Ohio on March 12, 2017 in reference to a job. It was reported that Poling had been staying at local motels in the area, but last contact indicated that she was homeless. The relative reported that last contact made by Poling was to her ex-husband.

Jamie Poling is reported by the relative to be Bi-Polar and suffer from seizures. Poling is a white female, described to be approximately 4 feet 10 inches in height and weighing 120 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
