At 12:50 p.m. nine-year-old Caleb James Simpson was located unharmed. He was checked by Navicent Health Medical Center Ambulance personnel and reunited with his family.

Bibb County Sheriff David Davis stated “I am grateful for the support and help from the community and the local Federal Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia State Patrol, and the Ga. Department of Corrections, for all of their help in locating young Caleb. I’m elated that Caleb was found and is back with his mother and family, this is the best outcome anyone could hope for.”

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. Deputies were notified that nine-year-old Caleb James Simpson was missing from his home on Wayne Drive. It was reported that Caleb was in the yard at 07:45 a.m. riding his skateboard, while waiting to be taken to school by his mother.

When his mother, Casey Martin, went to get Caleb he was not in the yard. She started looking for him and could not locate him anywhere. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has deputies in the area and the Ga. Department of Corrections search dog was called in to help.

Caleb is a white male four foot eight inches tall and weighs around fifty pounds, he has blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue Dodgers jersey with black pants and a black book-bag riding a green skateboard. A photograph of Caleb is attached.
